Infomate is a fully owned subsidiary of John Keells Holdings that performs the financial functions of the Group as well as acts as a BPO for external parties.
They provide expert solutions to various developed markets and needed an identity that would resonate with a global audience.
The first line of work was to replace the old logo with one that would be timeless and wouldn't need replacement unless major internal changes were done. After several strategy sessions and even more iterations, we arrived on a very simple, clean logo.
The blue of the logo is to represent intelligence, while the orange is to showcase fun (a perk of having a working relationship with Infomate). The square with a single chamfered edge is to depict a change in direction, which is at the foundation of the solution offered by infomate and the typeface with very tight tracking in lowercase is to showcase the friendly nature of the company.
The rest of the visual identity is based on the same principles of intelligence and fun, with overlapping type, colourful layouts and solid lines segmenting portions of information to show discipline and structure.
