Established in 2014, Dolce Italia brings authentic Italian cuisine to the shores of Sri Lanka. Prioritizing fresh local ingredients, health conscience products and emphasis on warm Italian hospitality. Tasked with upgrading their visual identity and applying this across packaging, print collateral and a new look and feel for their website, it was imperative that we used visual elements and phrases that are quintessentially Italian to invoke a sense of nostalgia to someone that has experienced Italian cuisine and to introduce a truly authentic experience to those that have not.
After collecting the necessary information from the CEO and Head Chef, we established the typeface, colours, motifs, elements and phrases to be used across their new range of sauces, pickles, dressings and frozen pizza. We had to take into consideration that as the local consumer is not familiar with these products, that we would have to combine a strong informative element while also being aesthetically appealing. With the completion of their collateral and their packaging we moved on to revamping their website that needed to match the new look and feel proposed while also being SEO friendly and responsive.
The whole project was concluded in two months due to our exceptional relationship with the client.
